About me, … well let’s have a quick think and get to know each other eh? At the time of typing, I’d say writing but haven’t got that wacom pen tablet thingy working yet, I’m a 37 year old Scot’s bloke now living in Christchurch in New Zealand, I know… couldn’t get any further away from home if I tried! I moved down here for work, and who would have thought it… I found a life.
I’ve met a fantastic Kiwi Girl who swept m off my feet, ok she beat me at pool & crazy golf but it’s a very similar thing, she’s now my fiancee and we’ve just had Emily, our stunning daughter who I’ll no doubt talk a lot about here.
I love photography and keep finding out new things bout it, and me through my photo’s, check out the website for some more of them…other things I like.. mountain biking (when I don’t fall off) tramping, staring at things in a I’m not really thinking of things in any way and the assorted bizarre thoughts, rambles and movie reviews that I’ll put in from time to time.
All in all I have to say I don’t think I could be happier at the moment, it’s nice when all the bits of your life come together eh?
So that’s briefly me… what about you?
What on earth is tramping? Wearing a dirty jacket with the pocket torn and the Daily Record and a bottle of Irn Bru hanging out?

Jen, et al, (note cool and correct use of Latin… yes I looked it up!)
Tramping… this is a kiwi past time, it’s basically hiking, with such a range of hills, mountains (and proper ones at that) world heritage sites and darn fine tracks, huts and lodges it’s a fab place for it.
Alas, no Daily Record or Irn Bru normally accompany you on this tramp (this is of course not mandatory and if you can get them than I’m sure they would be allowed.
